We participated in Cádiz in the conference “Gender perspective in the prl of feminized sectors”
Organized by the Occupational Risk Prevention Center of the Junta de Andalucía in Cádiz, in addition to the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, the Provincial Labor and Social Security Inspection in Cádiz also participated in the event.
Jesús Domínguez , director of the Occupational Risk Prevention Center of Cádiz, opened the session, highlighting the importance of applying gender perspective integration policies in the ORP in order to achieve equal prevention and protection between men and women.
Next, Fernando Sicre, Team Leader of the Provincial Labor and Social Security Inspection in Cádiz, intervened, highlighting the importance, to achieve real success in the application of the gender perspective, that the cost for the employer is zero or minimum, due to the productive need of the current market.
Lastly, Luis Ángel Merlo, occupational health and safety consultant at Fraternidad-Muprespa, took the floor, citing the reasons why a company must implement the gender perspective in its preventive management, especially in feminized sectors.
After this intervention, the question and answer session began and the day was closed, which is part of the actions that motto, in this edition, is “If everything is in its place, accidents have no place” which is commemorated around April 28, World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
