Activities II prevention week in Almería
Framed in the activities of the “II Prevention Week”, On the 24th and 25th of this month, two days of “Prevention in the classrooms” in the provincial direction of Almería. Both days were developed under the same content.
The presentation was given by Matilde Gongora Martínez, provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa of Almería, thanking the schools for their presence in our center, highlighting the importance of raising awareness among students from an early age with concepts as important as safety or prevention.
The first part of the day, consisting of risks in schools, was taught Alfonso Gerez Miras, Fraternidad-Muprespa Prevention technician who interacted with the students, asking questions related to risks, dangers, and risk signage that exist in schools.
For this first part, a student from the Master's Degree in PRL from the University of Almería also collaborated, who is doing the internship at our Mutua.
Next Gines Grima, a worker who suffered a serious accident in 2006 with the consequences of traumatic amputation of his right arm, explained to the students the importance of prevention from an early age and how, as a result of the accident, he had the necessary capacity to overcome all types of activities, especially sports, that the doctors who treated him saw as impossible.
The students had the opportunity to ask all kinds of questions and issues to Ginés Grima who had the pleasure of answering openly, in addition to showing them the bionic prosthesis implanted in the right arm by the Fraternidad-Muprespa doctors.

On April 24, the 6th grade of primary school was present.Center Stella Maris, which practically filled the 100 seats in the course room, showing a very active participation.
The next day, they accompanied us Archangel and Fatima Study Center, the students attending were from the 5th and 6th grades of primary school, who also demonstrated curiosity on the part of all the students who exchanged their concerns with the four speakers of the conference.
Fraternidad-Muprespa, would like to deeply thank both schools for allowing us to work and interact with their students since both students and teachers saw in these days a new way of training at an early age, in order to build more prepared future generations.
