ADVICE TO COMPANIES ON OCCUPATIONAL RISK PREVENTION: EDUCATIONAL OFFER 2007
The Order TAS/3623/2006 of November 28, 2006, which regulates preventive activities in the field of Social Security and the financing of the Foundation for the Prevention of Occupational Risks, establishes that mutual insurance companies may develop prevention activities of work accidents and occupational diseases in favor of the associated companies and their workers and also for the self-employed workers attached to them who have these contingencies covered.
The framework of said actions allowed to mutual societies in terms of prevention of occupational risks, developed by the Resolution of April 2, of the Secretary of State for Social Security, which determines the preventive activities to be carried out by the mutual societies of work accidents and occupational diseases of Social Security during the year 2007, has, among others, activities aimed at dissemination,education and raising awareness among companies regarding the prevention of AT and PE.
The 2007 educational offer published is part of the advisory activities on Occupational Risk Prevention that Fraternidad Muprespa develops for the prevention of work accidents and professional diseases of associated companies, in its capacity as collaborator in the management of Social Security.
This 2007 programming is preferably directed to small businesses and to companies and sectors with the highest accident rates, to its dependent workers and to the affiliated self-employed workers who have professional contingencies covered, in order to promote a preventive culture, which guarantees safe behavior in the development of work, the correct use of work equipment and collective and individual protection, as well as promoting interest and cooperation in preventive action within your company so that both managers and workers assume that the prevention of occupational risks is essential for the achievement of a job well done.
The carrying out by the company of any of the actions contained in the Educational Offer It does not replace the training that the employer is obliged to provide to his workers in compliance with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law (Art. 19.1).
