ARABELLA GOLF MALLORCA, COMPANY ASSOCIATED WITH Fraternidad-Muprespa, AWARDED IN THE CAEB AWARDS
Last Friday, October 21, the delivery of the VI Edition of CAEB Awards to Good Business Practices in Occupational Health and Safety, organized by the Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB).
The company associated with Fraternidad-Muprespa Arabella Golf Mallorca, has received the award in the SMEs Category (1 to 249 workers) in an event that was chaired by Carmen Planas, president of CAEB and Marina Gordon, head of the Social Security and Occupational Risk Prevention area of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE).
The event was also attended by Isabel Castro, general director of Labor, Social Economy and Occupational Health of the Balearic Government.
Bernat Llobera, director of Arabella Golf Mallorca, thanked him for the award, pointing out that “ The good practices carried out thanks to the continuous training in occupational risk prevention that our company has implemented is bearing fruit and this recognition confirms that we are acting in the correct direction, for which the joint involvement of the company and staff in matters of prevention is essential.”.
Among many other actions and initiatives that the company develops in terms of prevention, Bernat Llobera mentioned that they had proudly received the Bonus 2012 and 2013 diploma from the hands of Fraternidad-Muprespa, for being one of the companies highly committed to Occupational Risk Prevention that carries out actions that represent an improvement in the safety and health of its workers beyond strict compliance with prevention regulations. This award has encouraged them to continue believing in their prevention project, which is demonstrated by the awarding of the award received last week.
To conclude the event, the representatives of the winning companies had the opportunity to briefly describe how Occupational Health and Safety is managed in each of them.
