ATAM celebrates its 50th anniversary with the 'Futuro Singular' event

ATAM, social entity of the Telefónica Group dedicated to the service and promotion of the social integration of people with disabilities and dependents, celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with a congress that will focus on the analysis of the present, past and future of social entities.

This event, with the title “Singular Future: science, technology and humanism” will take place on October 25 in Kinépolis and the information is available at the website: https://futurosingular.com/ and it will be done a profound review of what has been achieved by social entities in these five decades.

The speakers, of first order in the scientific, technological, business, academic or social fields, will focus their participation in fields such as biomedicine, biomedical engineering, genomics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence or big data, with the aim of serving as a scenario for reflection on how the technological revolution affects the lives of older people or people with disabilities.

Assuming that technology must be at the service of social care, experts will show the advances that will allow people to be kept at home safely, with a higher level of well-being.

ATAM was born in 1973, fruit of the work of a group of Telefónica employees what buscaban ___create a help entity for their family members with disabilities.
