Conference at the College of Physicians of Huelva on clinical neurophysiology

On May 30, the VII Occupational Health Meeting on clinical neurophysiology in the assessment of body damage was held at the College of Physicians of Huelva. The technical presentation was given by Dr. María Ángeles Grande Alemany, a doctor specializing in clinical physiology, with a long career in the assessment of bodily harm.

Numerous professionals attended the event, including doctors from mutual societies collaborating with Social Security, primary care doctors from the Public Health Service and local managers of the Disability Medical Assessment Teams, both from the National Institute of Social Security and the Regional Government of Andalusia. Fraternidad-Muprespa eswas represented by its Provincial director in Huelva, Fernando Martínez.

Grande Alemany detailed in its presentation the different types of tests and their interpretation in the field of clinical neurophysiology, as well as their relationship to work capacity, with special emphasis on the explanation of the interpretation of the reports.

At the end of his presentation there was a time for discussion with the attendees, in which he answered and resolved a multitude of questions. Time during the day was also dedicated to exchanging impressions with the local officials of the institutions present on the latest legislative developments that affect the sector, and the need to reinforce direct communication channels between the INSS and the mutual insurance company was emphasized.
