Conference at the College of Social Graduates of Pontevedra on the employment relationship after an IP

The headquarters of the Colegio de Graduados Sociais de Pontevedra hosted on the 5th the conference “The employment relationship after the declaration of a permanent disability: termination or necessary adjustment”, organized jointly with Fraternidad-Muprespa. It was a day focused on Law 2/2025 of April 29, which modifies key aspects of the Workers' Statute, the General Law of Social Security and the Regulatory Law of Social Jurisdiction, with special emphasis on the termination of the employment contract due to permanent disability. 

The day was opened by Noemí Sordo, secretary of the College of Social Graduates of Pontevedra, who welcomed the attendees, both those present at the College itself and those who followed the day online. 

Next, Ana Lorenzo, coordinator of the Economic Benefits department of Fraternidad-Muprespa, intervened. Among other topics, he reviewed the employer's obligations following a declaration of permanent disability, the deadlines that affect the procedure and the motivations that may lead to different decisions.

The day closed with José Ignacio Díaz Lucas, Northern Territorial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, who summarized the key points shared by the speaker and thanked the attendees for their presence and the organization of the event.
