Conference in Pulpí on the Fraternidad-Muprespa Digital Office and the Pregnancy Risk Benefit

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security held this Wednesday in its Pulpí branch the conference, which was attended by around thirty attendees, to discuss the "New management and processing of the Pregnancy Risk Benefit and the functionalities of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Digital Office".

Angel Iglesias, director of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Delegation in Pulpí, welcomed the attendees and gave the floor to Alfonso Gerez, prevention consultant for the Mutua in Almería, who specified the main characteristics of the benefit:

• Hissuspension of contract with reservation of position
• Nullity of dismissal during suspension (unless applicable for reasons unrelated to pregnancy and breastfeeding)
• Continuation of Social Security contributions by the company
• No minimum contribution period required
• The special regime for domestic workers and self-employed workers is included.

It also addressed how risk assessments should be carried out, which should includeto determination of agents, procedures or working conditions that may affect these workers. He placed special emphasis on informing that the worker must be medically discharged when she completes the benefit application and that a medical report must be provided that the pregnancy is proceeding in a clinically normal manner. 

Ángel Iglesias then intervened to describe the f Digital Office functionalitiesof Fraternidad-Muprespa, which allows both benefit management and the aforementioned, in addition to offering more advantages and content: monitoring processes for medical leave, consultation of delegated payment deductions, consultation of medical reports pending communication to Social Security, consultation of various types of benefits or claims from the Treasury, obtaining personalized reports or processing benefit requests, among others.

It also offers companies and consultancies to manage and process their parts in the Delt@ System, locate a center, request first aid kits, access to two websites and a newsletter and abundant occupational risk prevention material for the health care of the company and the workforce.

Finally, he talked about the characteristics of the Patient Portal, in addition to its MiFraterPaciente app, which allows access to medical history, prescriptions, appointments, financial benefits... also consult healthcare processes, view images of diagnostic tests, have reports or consents and obtain receipts or the personal income tax withholding certificate.
