CONFERENCE IN TARRAGONA ON HEALTH AND WORKPLACE SAFETY, ORGANIZED BY Fraternidad-Muprespa

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, On May 3, a conference was held under the title “The administration's occupational health and safety policies, the criteria for the inspection visit and the role of Collaborating Mutual Insurance Companies with Social Security”, framed in health and safety at work.

Mr. Xavier Rofas Gasulla, provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Tarragona, together with the president of the College of Social Graduates of Tarragona,Ms. Anna Assamá Esteve, have welcomed and thanked everyone present for attending the event. The president took the opportunity to briefly explain the history of Fraternidad-Muprespa.

D. Jaume de Montserrat i Nonó, deputy director general of Occupational Health and Safety of GENCAT, spoke about social dialogue, the background, the current state of prevention in Catalonia, the strategic framework itself for the years 2015-2020, action plans and indicators, as well as their monitoring.

Next Mr. Antonio Jiménez, inspector of Labor and Social Security, Territorial Area Cap of the ITC in Terres de l'Ebre, has given a presentation on the regulations, the powers, the criteria, the documentation that may be required, as well as the consequences. Finally, he explained the campaigns planned for 2016.

The day has been very collaborative, generating an interesting and very enriching debate.
