Conference on "International Agreements on Social Security benefits"

On Wednesday, February 19, the provincial management of Madrid has organized in the assembly hall of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital, a conference entitled "International Agreements on social security benefits", in which the movements of workers abroad have been contextualized geographically and normatively, in addition to reviewing the requirements and the relevant processing to be presented to the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), the importance of the Health Card European Union (TSE) and how and when health and economic benefits are recognized in these cases.
 
Carmen Rueda, provincial director of Madrid, was in charge of opening the event, welcoming the nearly one hundred attendees from associated companies and consultancies in the province.
 
Next, Almudena Vilas, director of the Tres Cantos delegation of the Mutua, has broken down each point of the presentation, commenting first on the bilateral and multilateral agreements that exist between Spain and other countries, the community regulations that govern relations between Spain and the States belonging to the European Economic Area, as well as how Brexit affects us currently and in the future. Secondly, it has carefully explained the forms, the processing and subsequent presentation of the necessary documentation in case of travel abroad. At the same time, attendees have been expressing their doubts and comments, related to particular cases of their companies, which have been resolved satisfactorily by the speaker. 
 
Next, Dr. Antonio Ortega, specialist in Internal Medicine at the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital, took the floor to inform those present about the Coronavirus (COVID19), where it comes from, ways of contagion and above all about the protective measures against this and any type of virus. In addition, it has given very useful recommendations on the precautions that people who decide to undertake a trip to any part of the world should take, especially those destined for countries where hygiene and services are scarce.
