Emotional intelligence as a new ORP tool, conference at ENCE Pontevedra

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, gave an interesting training talk on October 10 about emotional intelligence as a new prevention tool. The event took place in the factory that the companyENCEhas in Pontevedra.

Jose Beltran, senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention at Fraternidad-Muprespa, has analyzed the aspects that affect workplace accidents from a psychosociological point of view. It has addressed the particularities ofemotional intelligence as a new preventive tool, highlighting the importance of image, emotions, verbal and non-verbal communication in the prevention of occupational risks.

There are several objectives of this talk,how to establish action protocols that clearly define a psychosocial preventive management policy; create and facilitate positive systems of participation and communication; develop a leadership style based on values; create and promote healthy work environments.
