Esteban Mate participates in a conference in Tres Cantos on reducing work absenteeism

The Tres Cantos City Council, together with the Marca 3C Instituto de Empresa association, held the day “Reduce absenteeism in your company”, a meeting that brought together experts, institutional representatives and professionals from the workplace. Fraternidad-Muprespa was present at the event thanks to the participation of Esteban Mate, Deputy Director General of Management. 

The president of the association, Herminia López, led the day, which was opened by the mayor of the town, Jesús Moreno, who highlighted the importance of improving working conditions as a way to strengthen productivity and collective well-being and reduce the absence of employees. 

Esteban Mate offered a complete vision of the current situation in relation to absenteeism in the Spanish workplace, pointing out, through an innovative analysis, the different factors that contribute to this very complex reality. This exhibition helped to contextualize and make sense of the various discussions and proposals during the event, emphasizing the need for a deeper understanding of absenteeism in order to address it effectively.

Subsequently, two round tables were held. The first was about measures to reduce absenteeism in organizations and was moderated by Ana Isabel Pérez Baos, councilor for HR and Economic Development of the municipality. Participating were Aurora García, from the College of Social Graduates of Madrid, Jesús Prieto, Labor inspector, and Emilio González, from the López Colmenarejo Consultancy.

The second table focused on the cases of termination of the contract.

The speakers were Raquel Vicente,   special magistrate list of the Social Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid , Flavia Martins de Acevedo, from Veirano Abogados, and Lara Serrano, lawyer specialized in immigration, with Natalia Serrano, labor lawyer from the López Colmenarejo consultancy, as moderator.

The meeting gave rise to an open and enriching dialogue, in which effective strategies were shared to address absenteeism and improve business productivity.

The day concluded with a thank you to all the entities involved, speakers and attendees, for their involvement and commitment in finding collective solutions to the challenge of absenteeism.
