Exhibition of Spanish prevention posters from the 20th century at the AXA Foundation in Madrid

The exhibition is located at the headquarters of AXA in Madrid and can be visited by the public from October 9 to 27.

It consists of 48 reproductions of posters from the 20th century whose theme is safety at work, prevention and occupational health, showing the evolution that the image of prevention has had during the last century. This exhibition makes available to the public an audio guide that allows, through a QR code printed on each poster, to listen to a brief explanation about each of the works via mobile phone, thus helping to contextualize both each artistic work and the entire exhibition.

This event culminates the cycle of 20th Century prevention poster exhibitions that has been held since 2016 with great public success. Its traveling nature has allowed the exhibition to be brought closer to a total of 26 provinces spread throughout Spain. In the 42 exhibitions held in recent years, the main Spanish airports and railway stations have been visited. It has also been seen in multiple civic centers and municipal culture houses, provincial headquarters of the INSS and Social Security Treasury, regional prevention institutes, universities and museums throughout Spain.

The AXA Foundation collaborates in the dissemination and traveling of this exhibition, under the agreement signed with the Mutua in April 2021, with the aim of promoting the prevention of occupational risks. With this presentation at its headquarters we conclude the series of exhibitions held with the AXA Foundation, thanking them for their collaboration in this common initiative of sharing the vision of a world without accidents, promoting good practices in companies, through the 14 joint exhibitions held (Tobacalera Civic Center of Santander, Granada City Council, Galicia Business Circle in Vigo, Faculty of Work Sciences of the University Murcia, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of Murcia, Faculty of Law of the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Ciudad Real, Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work, Steel and Mining Museum of Castilla y León in Sabero, Museum of the Armera Industry Éibar in Gipúzkoa, Plaza de Trascorrales in Oviedo, Red Cross of Malaga, Palace of the Constable of Pamplona, University of Almería).
