Fraternidad-Muprespa, at a conference in Cádiz on management of ITCC in cross-border patients
On May 27, the assembly hall of the La Línea University Hospital, in Cádiz, hosted a training session organized by the Medical Unit for the Assessment of Disabilities (UMVI) of the province, in collaboration with the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). The session, a training on the management of cross-border patients aimed at primary care doctors, aimed to reinforce knowledge and establish common criteria.
Miguel Ysasi, provincial director of During his speech, he explained how these processes work, the coordination circuits and the contribution of mutual insurance companies to improving management and clinical monitoring.
In the final part of his presentation, Ysasi stressed the need to address the ITCC“from a holistic and non-fragmented perspective”, remembering that“The real improvement of this benefit is only possible through joint and coordinated work between all the agents involved: primary care, UMVI, INSS, mutual insurance companies, companies and, essentially, with the active participation of the patient themselves”.
The conference was valued as a useful space for exchange to move towards more collaborative, efficient and worker-centered models.
