Fraternidad-Muprespa participated last Friday, April 28, in the conference on the management of Workplace Disability organized by the INSS of Granada. In it, the main novelties of Royal Decree 1060/2022, of December 27, which modifies Royal Decree 625/2014, of July 18, which regulates certain aspects of the management and control of processes for temporary disability in the first three hundred and sixty-five days of their duration, were presented in order to expedite the procedures in the management of disability. temporary.

The day was opened by Pablo García Ruiz, Provincial Director of INSS of Granada, who thanked Fraternidad-Muprespa for its participation and showed his concern for the growth of IT in the province, whose cost has gone from 6 to 12 million euros in just five years.

Mª Belén Barrionuevo Alcaide, Provincial Deputy Director de Disability Management del INSS of Granada, delved into the regulatory developments and gave special importance to the fact that companies must transfer to the INSS the data on the tasks carried out by the worker, being very necessary information for them when making a decision with the dismissal process. On the other hand, he stressed that the INSS company files have been working since December 1999, so it is nothing new for them, and he showed a video edited by the INSS, explaining how to download them.

José Guillermo García Contreras Martínez, doctor Chief Inspector of the INSS of Granada, discussed the issue of process relapses and the importance of using the R174 model. He also alluded to other regulatory changes, such as the extension of the IT until the date of the resolution, and the entry into extension directly to 365, leaving the worker in delegated payment.

On behalf of the Mutua, Andrés Ruiz Martínez, Provincial Director of Granada, who acted as moderator, and Sonia Medrano Pascual, Southern Territorial Director, who highlighted the importance of the development of this day at this time of regulatory changes, he thanked INSS for his invitation and showed the commitment to collaborate to help reduce absenteeism in companies.
