Fraternidad-Muprespa AWARDS MADRID COMPANIES THE BONUS DIPLOMA
On June 21, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, held an institutional event in Madrid in the assembly hall of the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work of Madrid, to be delivered to more than one hundred companies in Madrid, corresponding to the Bonus 2013 campaign, regulated by RD 404/2010.
This recognition is granted to companies committed to reducing workplace accidents and preventing occupational risks. Being the General Directorate of Social Security Regulation who, once the concurrence of the requirements provided for by current regulations on Social Security has been verified, grants this incentive to companies.
Mr. Carlos Aranda, managing director of “It is fair to recognize the effort that companies make not one day, but 365 days a year” highlighting that “I can't conceive of a modern and efficient company that doesn't focus on prevention.”
The director of the Research and Information department of the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work,Ms. Marta Zimmermann, explained the evolution of the Bonus incentive and highlighted that 6 out of 10 companies have a budget for prevention. Given the change in current working conditions, it proposes a “active vigil, in order to redesign strategies, not only to reduce accidents but to improve working conditions”.
The General Director of Social Security Management then intervened. D. Rafael Barbera, who has highlighted that “prevention must be in the DNA of every company”, “from Social Security what we want is for there to be no accidents” and that “the Bonus should be fundamentally a question of accidents”.
To close the event Ms. Carmen Rueda, provincial director of Madrid of Fraternidad-Muprespa, has congratulated the companies for the effort made in prevention.“If they are here, it is because they have already shown that they are capable of doing it.”
