Fraternidad-Muprespa brings together the center's workers at the new Hospital before it opens its doors
Fraternidad-Muprespa lived last Saturday, March 9, an emotional day of reunions. Given the imminent opening of the Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana, the doors were opened to its employees. The management of the Mutua, with its president, Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, and its manager, Carlos Aranda, at the head, received a large part of the hospital staff who were returning to what will be their new workplace.
The manager of the Mutual Fund took the floor to inaugurate the event. Aranda addressed the many people present in the assembly hall to review the events that motivated the decision to demolish the old hospital and build the new one. Also, to the work that has been carried out with the different public administrations involved in its creation. But his most emotional words came when he thanked the efforts of those who for five years have had to work in other centers, mainly at the Hospital de Día de la Mutua, on Madrid's Madre de Dios street, and at the Asepeyo hospital in Coslada.
I want, on behalf of the President, the Board of Directors and the Management Committee, to express my deep gratitude to those who have worked outside our home during these long years. Also express the wish that this new stage that begins is a success.
After his turn came the intervention of the deputy director general of Management, Esteban Mate, who focused on how to offer the best quality of care to the patient, provide total security to their medical process, solve their problems and collaborate with the NETWORK, who assured:
We are faced with an opportunity to do things differently to heal better, through a clear patient orientation, taking advantage of technology, research and innovation. This is the challenge.
Elena López Eusebio, manager of Hospital
The building is perfect, it will help carry out the work, but what makes the work excellent is the quality of its healthcare personnel.
The head of the Hospital's Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery service, Dr. Álvaro Minuesa, also addressed those present, who showed his satisfaction at being part of this new project for almost a year and highlighted the professionalism and qualification of the health personnel who will care for the workers protected by the mutual insurance company.
Finally, it was the turn to speak for Carmen Rueda and José Luis Agudo, Provincial Director and Director of Madrid and Ciudad Real, respectively, who detailed the importance that this center will have not only for protected workers in the Community of Madrid and its neighboring provinces, but also for the entire healthcare NETWORK.
Once the interventions were completed, it was time for the workers, who had already begun to move to the Hospital, to meet their colleagues again and show their satisfaction at starting a new stage, in which they congratulated each other for being part of this team and the mutual insurance company for moving towards a new stage. Among the most emotional anecdotes, that of a nurse who was already working at the Mutua when the old hospital was inaugurated, in 1973, or that of an administrator who was the last person to work at the old center, before the definitive closure of its doors and the beginning of demolition work. All of them make up the past and present of the Mutua, but above all, they are, from now on, the future of Fraternidad-Muprespa.
