Fraternidad-Muprespa increases its income by 10.47% compared to 2022 and contributes 22 million to the SS

The surplus that the Mutual Fund will pay into Social Security is 22 million euros, corresponding to the surplus resulting from the termination of self-employed workers. The professional contingency reserves are allocated at 28.13%.

According to data collected in the Annual Report and Sustainability Report, in 2023 the Mutual Fund had more than 118 thousand member mutual companies and 1,534,188 protected workers (1,572,279 at the end of the year), which represents a new record number of members.

It was highlighted that 2023 has been a complicated year for the sector due to the increase in absenteeism and the beginning of the review of the extraordinary benefits granted to the self-employed provisionally during the pandemic, concerns that remain during 2024.

Health activity, prevention and special benefits

During 2023, the Mutual Fund has carried out more than 1.14 million healthcare services for professional contingencies and has carried out 567,376 healthcare actions in common contingencies. Likewise, it has carried out more than 14,000 preventive actions, including reports, visits, courses and conferences in mutual companies.

In addition, the Special Benefits Commission granted 503 aid to injured workers for an amount of 546,865 euros.

Improvement of the healthcare and hospital network

To serve the protected group, the Mutua has a care network of 115 own centers spread throughout Spain, of which 102 offer health care, in addition to the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, in Madrid.

Throughout 2023,

The investment forecast for the years 2024 and 2025 will exceed 20 million euros.

In this care network, a staff of 2,153 people provide their service, of which more than 1,100 are healthcare personnel.
