Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in a conference with the INSS and the CGS of Zamora
With the title "Pensions, improvements in compatibility with work and management of medical leaves that exceed 545 days", the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security participated on the 11th in this meeting, together with the Official College of Social Graduates of Zamora and the National Institute of Social Security in the province, which took place at the School of Relations Labor.
Isaac Macías, president of the Illustrious Official College of Social Graduates of Zamora, welcomed the attendees, thanking the speakers for their contributions and the School for providing the space.
The first presentation was given by José María Rodríguez Garrote, head of the Retirement Section of the INSS Provincial Directorate in Zamora, who focused on “Retirements, improvements in compatibility with work.” Rodríguez focused on the news of Royal Decree Law 11/2024 that modifies access to retirement, commenting on the different alternatives to extend working life through active retirement, delayed retirement and partial retirement.
Francisco Barroso, Territorial Coordinator of Benefits of the Territorial Directorate Center-Large Mutualists of Fraternidad-Muprespa, was in charge of the presentation “Management of sick leave exceeding 545 days”, focused on the situation of people workers, once the maximum period of temporary disability has passed.
He also explained what the reform of articles 49.1 of the Workers' Statute, and 174 of Law 02/2025, on the possibility of reinstating a worker after granting a disability permanent.
Finally, and to close the event, Juan Antonio García Asunción, Provincial Director of the Mutua in Zamora, spoke, thanking him for attending the event and ratifying the commitment of Fraternidad-Muprespa to participate and collaborate, both with the College of Social Graduates and with the INSS in this type of conference.
