Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the XI Congress of Actualidad Laboral
During December 12, 13 and 14, the Official College of Social Graduates of Madrid celebrates his XI Congress of Actualidad Laboral at its headquarters on Arrianza Street, in a conference meeting in which highly current and evolving topics such as self-employment, pensions, agreements, liability for tax crimes, temporary hiring among others, with its updating of new jurisprudence, have been discussed.
The congress has had the participation of prestigious professionals from the sector, among them the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa.
Natalia Fernández Laviada, deputy director general of Prevention, Quality and Communication of the Mutua, moderated the panel debate on “The Law of urgent reforms of self-employment”, thanking everyone present for their attendance. He also introduced the speakers and highlighted that “ “Spain is a country of small and medium-sized companies with great capacity to generate wealth”.
He then took the floor Elena Toothless Daroca, professor of Labor and Social Security Law at the UNED, who has commented on the particularities of the reform, highlighting primarily the figure of TRADE and has added that said reform “has not addressed the fundamental problems of self-employment”.
He then participated in the debate Carmen Pazos Herrero, provincial deputy director of Decentralized Management of the General Treasury of Social Security of Madrid, who has influenced those modifications of the Law that affect the scope of the General Treasury of Social Security.
Eusebio Medina Gil, technical advisor to the provincial directorate of the INSS, who has explained in depth everything related to active retirement and maternity and paternity benefits for the self-employed.
This table could not miss a presentation with the perspective of occupational risk prevention, being Mar Morales González, director of the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture at Fraternidad-Muprespa, who has detailed that many self-employed “they do not know what their obligations are in terms of occupational risk prevention” and added that “The self-employed person does not tend to protect themselves.”
Finally, he took the floor Ricardo Perpiñan Girol, secretary of ASEFIGET, Spanish Association of Tax Advisors and Tax Managers, who began his presentation by commenting that “The modifications of the new Law are very few, the self-employed needs something more than the flat rate” also talking about the billing and taxation of self-employed workers.
After the conferences, an interesting debate took place in which attendees were able to exchange opinions and ask their questions with the speakers, thus enriching the day.
