Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in Zaragoza in the Congress of the Spanish Society for Healthcare Quality
Between October 19 and 21, the XXXVIII Congress of the Spanish Society for Healthcare Quality (SECA) was held in Zaragoza with the title “The challenges of today, the quality of tomorrow”
On Thursday the 20th, a technical table was held on “Patient safety in Mutual Insurance Companies that collaborate with Social Security” with the participation of specialists from Fraternidad-Muprespa, Asepeyo, Fremap, Ibermutua, Mc Mutual and Mutualia. The presentations were about culture and training on this topic, risk management, as well as the reporting of adverse events and first and second victims.
Fraternidad-Muprespa was represented by Eva Manzano, director of the Department of Health Management, who gave a presentation titled “Risk Management for patient safety” in which Ana also participated Periset, from the same department, and Silvia Ordóñez, anesthetist at Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana.
At the closing of the table, the conclusions were presented and the bases were established to develop a document with proposals for improvement in order to continue working in this area at the next annual meeting.
The work carried out by each mutual insurance company has been highly valued by those attending, among whom were Eva Ramón, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Zaragoza, and Javier Pueyo, care coordinator of the Northeast territorial management of the Mutua.
