The rectorate of the University of Córdoba hosted last Thursday and Friday the technical conference and the presentation gala of the III Prevencionar 2020 Awards in which the winners of these international awards were announced, which recognize professional significances and companies in the occupational risk prevention and occupational health sector.

Both events were attended by Prevencontrol and Prevencionar Saludable Award in the Large Company category, to the Port Authority of Bilbao.

In front of a crowd made up of a hundred senior managers, those organizations whose work has represented a true advance in the field of health, safety and well-being at work received their awards in fourteen categories, among them two Mutual Collaborators with Social Security: Umivale MCSS Nº15, with GA Group, award for Road Safety, and Asepeyo MCSS Nº151, from the +compromiso alliance, award for Preventive Innovation.

The prelude to the awards ceremony took place the day before, with the celebration of a technical day focused on sharing knowledge with renowned Prevention and Health professionals. Natalia Fdez.

In it he explained that just as Steve Jobs designed the iPad thinking about creating a device that would bring technology closer to everyone, far from the complex computer language, similarly, at Fraternidad-Muprespa we firmly believe in bringing Prevention closer to companies, especially SMEs, and society in general, making it accessible and understandable through Communication.

Prevention cannot, nor should it be restricted solely to the scope of preventionists, but must be part of the daily life of companies and workers, to achieve the necessary preventive culture, achieving a healthy, safe and healthy work environment.

He also highlighted that as a result of the pandemic, the opinion of prevention specialists has not been taken into account in the media, "despite the fact that they were expert professionals in health and safety and that was precisely what was at stake." He stated that “it is something we have to reflect on, what we do or don't do well, because we must convince ourselves that communication in prevention is vital to reach people and change behaviors.”
Finally, he highlighted the importance of brave events such as the III Prevencionar Awards, organized in especially complicated conditions but with maximum security, which make the sector visible, and which will result in undeniable benefits for workers, companies and society in general.

As they have been doing for ten years, a decade in which they have experienced strong growth that has led them to be present in five countries and to have more than ten million visits from 200 countries around the world, always with the aim of contributing and sharing their knowledge to the culture of occupational health and safety.
