Fraternidad-Muprespa TEACHES A BACK AND FIRST AID WORKSHOP IN ZARAGOZA
On the occasion of the celebration of “World Day for Safety and Health at Work” the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa has organized more than 115 activities nationwide in the so-called "Prevention Week" in order to bring preventive culture closer to the streets.
On April 26, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has held a “Healthy Back Workshop” at the Provincial Directorate of Zaragoza, an informative and eminently practical session.
Mr. José Luis Fernández Medina, senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, presented the workshop, emphasizing the importance of keeping our back healthy as a basis for preventing injuries.
The workshop was led by Mr. Eduardo Borderías Blasco y Ms. Elisa Domingo Debilliers, physiotherapists from Fraternidad-Muprespa in Zaragoza and has consisted of a theoretical part and a practical part, with exercises and stretches to acquire healthy postural habits; prevent problems, injuries and correct and strengthen our spine.
Likewise, a first aid workshop was held on April 27, presented by Ms. Eva Ramón Arbués, provincial director of the Mutua in Zaragoza, who welcomed everyone present and thanked them for their attendance.
Mr. José Javier Pueyo Otal, deputy territorial care coordinator of the Northeast zone, has explained in a theoretical-practical way the basic principles of first aid, focusing in more depth on how to perform a cardiac massage, stop bleeding or act in the event of a burn.
The purpose of this workshop has been to provide the group of workers from associated companies with the most basic knowledge to provide effective help to those who have suffered an accident and to train them in the basic techniques of applying first aid, which they can apply both in their jobs and in their daily lives.
