FraterTalk#6. AESLEME: 30 years for and for road safety with Mar Cogollos
Fraternidad-Muprespa , Mutua Collaboradora con la Seguridad Social No. 275, organizes the day November 13 at 10:00 am the sixth edition of FRATERTALKS under the title “AESLEME: 30 years for and for road safety” where we will have its general director, Mar Cogollos, who will share her point of view on work-related traffic accidents.
This FRATERTALK is framed within the III Work Road Safety Week (SVL) that Fraternidad-Muprespa organizes from November 4 to 15. The objective of this week is to prevent and avoid another pandemic that has always been present, that of traffic accidents linked to work.
Among the actions that make up our III Road Safety Week are: poster under the motto “Distance saves lives”, virtual Congress with 6 days of webinars (1 institutional opening + 5 specific topics), e-learning training, dissemination and web awareness
AESLEME is the Association for the Study of Spinal Cord Injury that was born as a result of concern about the alarming increase in spinal cord injuries and craniocerebral trauma caused mainly by accidents. It is a private, national, non-profit entity declared of public utility dedicated to the prevention of accidents that cause spinal and brain injuries, most of which are irreversible: paraplegia, tetraplegia, craniocerebral trauma, etc.
The vision of AESLEME is to prevent accidents, through prevention and awareness campaigns, as well as to reduce the number of serious injuries and deaths of traumatic origin, through Road Safety Education campaigns and to provide comprehensive support and assistance to people with disabilities, their families and friends. And on the other hand, raise awareness among the population about the consequences of accidents and problems (physical, psychological and social) that people with disabilities face and improve the socio-labor integration of people with disabilities: training them and trying to incorporate them to work in the association.
We invite you to join us on this journey that will most certainly contribute to improving road safety in work environments.
