Management of occupational diseases, a topic for debate at Fraternidad-Muprespa in Almería

On November 15, another meeting with ideas took place, at the provincial management of the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa of Almeria, whose topic of debate has been "Management of occupational diseases".

Matilde Gongora Martínez, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, presented the table by making a presentation on the definition of occupational diseases, their classification and research.

He subsequently participated as a speaker,Luis Martínez Vázquez, deputy director of Temporary Disability of the National Institute of Social Security in Almería who has taken the floor, giving an interesting presentation on occupational diseases, their procedures and the consequences of the declaration of this type of contingencies. He has also commented on the communication procedures through the CEPROSS system, the assessment of the contingency determination processes by EP and the role that current regulations grant to the MCSS.

The current situation of the declaration of occupational diseases has also been clarified, placing emphasis on the campaign carried out by the SAS (Andalusian Health Service), which aims to bring out this type of pathology, since its consequences do not necessarily have to lead to challenging action by the Administration.

This event was attended by representatives of the HR departments of associated companies, labor advisors and personnel from prevention services, who actively participated in this round table.

Fraternidad-Muprespa thanked those present for attending the meeting, inviting them for future events.
