Next day: Assessment of occupational risk during pregnancy, SEGO guide 2nd edition

Fraternidad-Muprespa , Mutua Collaboradora con la Seguridad Social nº 275, celebrates a day at the headquarters of the Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB) in Ibiza. It will explain the new features provided by said guide, so that companies and prevention services have greater knowledge of the preventive management to be carried out from the notification of the pregnancy situation, in addition to knowing the important differences in criteria that may arise when applying the new guide, new identified risks, etc.
The D.R. 295/2009, in its chapter IV, defined the mechanisms for obtaining the benefit for risk of pregnancy and breastfeeding. The criteria for assessing whether occupational risks affected pregnancy or breastfeeding, and therefore the weeks of start of the benefit, have been generally based on the use of the guide prepared by the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SEGO).
In December 2018, the new guide for assessing occupational risk during pregnancy (SEGO 2) was published, in which not only the Spanish Society of Gynecology, but also the INSS and AMAT (association of mutual insurance companies) participated, with the aim of achieving a guide of broad consensus.
