+Compromiso, alliance of mutual companies will provide coverage to more than 4.6 million workers in Spain

Asepeyo, Fraternidad-Muprespa and MC Mutual, mutual collaborators with Social Security, announced this morning at a press conference, their collaboration agreement under the name +Compromiso, mutual alliance, an agreement to expand and bring its service closer to mutual companies. The three entities have more than 560,000 mutual companies, 4,620,000 workers in professional contingencies and 4,435,000 in common contingencies. They will have a large healthcare network made up of 354 healthcare centers and nine hospitals and clinics. 

The most notable actions of +Compromiso, mutual alliance, are those of sharing the healthcare and administrative centers of each mutual fund, reciprocally providing hospital, outpatient, recovery and complementary testing healthcare assistance in professional contingencies.

Also the performance of diagnostic tests, therapeutic and rehabilitative treatments in temporary disability processes derived from common contingencies. R&D&i aimed at reducing professional contingencies is another of the points contemplated in this agreement, which will lead the three entities to collaborate in preventive activities for mutual companies and in the development of common computer applications. All this to streamline and bring services closer to its mutual members.

Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, president of Fraternidad-Muprespa, stated at the press conference that the main function of +Compromiso, mutual alliance "is to ensure the health of protected workers, putting more than 7,000 professionals at their disposal, 3,000 of them from the health field." Miguel Valls, president of MC Mutual, pointed out that “with +Compromiso, mutual alliance It brings us even closer to our users, offering them a better service since we shorten distances between the protected population and healthcare centers." José María Juncadella, president of “We want to be a healthcare benchmark and always act seeking the highest quality and efficiency.” 

+Compromiso, mutual alliance Its objective is to establish a stable framework of collaboration and cooperation between mutual companies in accordance with several principles: respect for the legal personality of each mutual company, its autonomy, its own identity and economic independence; promotion of common activities in compliance with the legally assigned Social Security collaboration purposes; vocation for quality in the services to be provided to mutual companies and the protected workforce, based on the management autonomy of each mutual company and transparency and the principle of good governance in the management of all activities.
