Fraternidad-Muprespa Mutua Collaboradora con la Seguridad Social No. 275, organizes the day December 18 at 10:00 am the seventh edition of FRATERTALKS under the title “Teleworking: new way of working, new regulatory and preventive framework” where we will talk about the most relevant aspects and most common doubts around this new type of work.

And it can really be said that teleworking until recently was something new in our country. Not in vain, before the pandemic the percentage of workers who teleworked did not reach 5%, while starting in March the need for social distancing caused millions of workers to start working from home overnight.

This is posing a challenge at a preventive level but also at a legal level and is generating some controversy and confusion. What occupational risks exist now that workers have exchanged the office for their living room? Does the concept of a work accident change when teleworking? How can risk assessments be done for staff working remotely? Will musculoskeletal disorders increase because many workers may be using non-ergonomic furniture? What are the most important aspects of the new teleworking law?

We will try to shed some light on these and other unknowns in our next FRATERTALK, and for this we will have three Fraternidad-Muprespa specialists:

  • Rafael Doménech , Director of the Legal Advisory and Services Center.
  • David Revillo , PRL Consultant in the Department of Prevention and Development of the Culture of Health.
  • Eduardo Castro , Director of the Department of Economic Benefits.

To conclude this FRATERTALK, Mar Morales, Director of the Department of Prevention and Development of the Culture of Health of Fraternidad-Muprespa, will present the new guide on ‘Good practices at Home Office', available to all our mutual members through our Online Prevention Classroom.
