Fraternidad-Muprespa and the Official College of Pharmacists of Seville sign a collaboration agreement
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, and the Royal and Illustrious College of Pharmacists of Seville, RICOFSE, have signed a collaboration agreement by which prescriptions issued in official forms by doctors of the Mutua will be exempt from contributions for affiliated workers and self-employed workers, provided that the prescribed medications and health products are intended for treatments derived from professional contingencies.
The signing of the agreement took place last Monday the 6th at the Provincial address of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Seville. On behalf of the College, the agreement was signed by its president,Manuel Perez, while Esteban Mate, deputy director general of Management, did so on behalf of the Mutua.
Fraternidad-Muprespa manages, among others, benefits for professional contingency, which includes the provision of health care, the economic and pharmaceutical benefits required by the workers of their mutual companies and the affiliated self-employed workers, who suffer from an occupational disease or have suffered a work accident.
"Thanks to this agreement we guarantee that patients in Seville can request the medication prescribed by the Mutua in any pharmacy in the province without having to pay any charge," said Esteban Mate, who added that "it is a practice that we carry out in a good part of the territory, now also in this province, and we are working to extend this service to the rest of Andalusia." “We thank RICOFSE for providing us with access to this service,” concluded the deputy director.
In a similar way it was expressed Lola Jariego, Provincial Director of the Mutua in Seville, pointing out that "patients have expressed their satisfaction at being able to go to any pharmacy for their medications, without having to pay the amount in advance."
The text also stipulates the billing procedure for prescriptions charged to the Mutual Fund, as well as the payment deadlines to the College. Likewise, both entities undertake to guarantee the security of the personal data of the patients to whom the prescriptions are dispensed, a file whose owner is Fraternidad-Muprespa.
This agreement is added to those already signed previously between the Mutua and the Official Colleges of Pharmacists of Castilla-La Mancha, Álava, Barcelona, Valencia and the Community of Madrid.
