On September 30, a new season of Fratertalks to talk in this edition about occupational cancer and the news of the Royal Decree 395/2022 which has recently been published.

Hearing the word cancer gives us goosebumps, since there are many lives that this disease takes every year. If we talk from a work point of view, in certain production processes carcinogenic agents are used that, if adequate risk prevention is not carried out in time, may lead to occupational cancer in the future.

Furthermore, the fact that it is a disease that comes to light several years after exposure to the carcinogen makes it even more dangerous, which is why it is necessary to act in advance, evaluating the risk and establishing the appropriate preventive measures that avoid the risk and that the workers are always in safe conditions.

To talk about all this, we had the pleasure of having Carlos Mojón, Technical Director of Himalaya Laboratories and member of the General Council of Occupational Health and Safety Professionals and who enlightened us with his knowledge and experience in the area of industrial hygiene.

If you were not able to attend the live event, below you can watch the video of the event.Fratertalk:
