Preventive Leadership Tools Course
One of the most important principles to prevent accidents and occupational diseases is to assume leadership and commitment to workplace safety, therefore, both company management and middle management must assume this preventive role to create a healthy, safe and healthy work environment.
For management or middle management to assume the importance of creating a safe work environment, it is important to awaken the motivation of each person, involving them emotionally and making them reflect on what moves them to avoid a work accident or professional illness.
During the course, which consists of three topics, we talk about these issues and how to improve management commitment and involvement, we also delve into an easy preventive measure to implement in companies such as safety walks and I encourage safety conversations about unsafe behavior and accident investigation.
Participatory Ergonomics Course
Jobs that involve activities or actions that are repeated over time can cause musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), alterations of more or less severity, ranging from discomfort, aches or pains to more serious problems that even require medical treatment. They cause often persistent pain and limitations in mobility, dexterity and general level of functioning, which reduces people's ability to work.
To prevent these musculoskeletal disorders, there is participatory ergonomics, which deals with the study of the conditions of the workplace in order to adapt it to the characteristics of each worker because when this adaptation is not viable, the chances of having a problem increase. Participatory refers to the fact that the affected people are the ones who participate in the identification and solution of the problems, as well as in the assessment of the effectiveness of preventive measures.
During the course, which consists of two topics, we talk about these issues and the visibility of health damage due to musculoskeletal disorders and the investigation of a work accident caused by incorrect handling of loads.
Along with the new courses, we also present two podcasts with the main contents of each of them in sound format, hosted on the main platforms created for this purpose such as Ivoox, YouTube, Spotify and on our corporate Web portal. Through this product we will be able to learn for the first time or remember the contents of the courses in a few minutes.
