13 Tenerife mutual companies receive the Zero Accident Distinction from Fraternidad-Muprespa

The Provincial management of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Santa Cruz de Tenerife held this Wednesday, June 21, the ceremony to present the Zero Accident Badges, which the Mutual Fund grants to companies that have not declared work-related accidents or occupational diseases in the last fifteen, ten or five years. 
The badges are intended to be placed in a visible place in the company to demonstrate its proactivity in favor of occupational safety, health and well-being. The rest of the companies deserving the distinction, around forty, will receive it soon.

The opening of the event, which took place at the Provincial office, was led by its director, Raquel Domínguez, who welcomed the representatives of the distinguished companies and praised their good practices. "These types of acts dignify the work of mutual companies. It is a pride to be able to give entrepreneurs and advisors these badges, especially in a time of high accidents".

Domínguez thanked the presence of Elirerto Galván, “who has shared his study of the provincial data on accidents, in addition to describing the ICASEL measures and the six strategic objectives of the recently approved Canarian Occupational Health and Safety Strategy for the period 2023-2027, whose main objective is to achieve safe, healthy and sustainable work environments.”

Elirerto Galván, for his part, thanked Fraternidad-Muprespa for having been invited to “this type of actions are important and innovative, which recognize the efforts of companies that keep the preventive culture alive among their staff and serve as an example for those that do not have it so internalized.” “In this way,” he added, “they can assume that working conditions can always be improved.”
