Uncovered asbestos. Keys to safe action and what we all need to know

The Preventive Culture courses are talks given by Prevention Consultants from  Fraternidad-Muprespa  or guest experts in security and occupational health  which are carried out in webinar mode with the aim of promoting a preventive culture in companies to achieve the reduction of accidents  and promote safe behaviors in workers.

Although the use of asbestos has been prohibited for more than 20 years, materials with asbestos still exist in factories, homes, roofs, pipes and even in old vehicles. The worrying thing is that, if handled uncontrollably, it can release microscopic fibers that, when inhaled, can cause serious respiratory diseases. That is why you have to know in what places and materials it can be found. What to do if you suspect that there is asbestos in your company. Who should be in charge of its removal and how to do it safely and what the control measures are while it is still present.
