Fraternidad-Muprespa promotes the improvement of quality and patient safety at the SECA Congress
Within the framework of XLI Congress organized by the Spanish Society for Healthcare Quality (SECA) and the II Congress of the Madrid Association of Quality Care (AMCA), held at the IFEMA in Madrid with the motto “Quality of Care: basis of healthcare transformation”, a technical session coordinated by mutual insurance companies has been developed focused on cooperation, evaluation and continuous improvement of healthcare.
Under the title “Benchmarking between the MCSS: Multicenter study and health quality standards”, the table has addressed collaboration models between mutual insurance companies and health centers, the application of common indicators to evaluate the quality of care and shared learning derived from multicenter experiences.
During the session, Charity Amador Lorente, Director of Nursing at the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital, presented a presentation in which she explained the key standards to proactively improve patient safety, through a structured analysis that allows us to identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce risks.
Amador Lorente has highlighted the relevance of include security indicators in the services dashboard, as a strategic tool to promote the hospital's safety culture, establishing objectives, indicators and monitoring mechanisms that promote continuous improvement.
The meeting has been consolidated as a reference space to connect assurance management with quality of care and patient safety, reinforcing the role of mutual insurance companies as active agents in the transformation and sustainability of the health system.
