Fraternidad-Muprespa promotes quality improvement and patient safety at the SECA Congress

Within the framework of the XLI Congress organized by the Spanish Society for Quality Care (SECA) and the II Congress of the Madrid Association of Quality Care (AMCA), held at the IFEMA in Madrid with the motto “Quality Care: basis of healthcare transformation” , has developed a technical session coordinated by mutual insurance companies focused on cooperation, evaluation and continuous improvement of health care.

Under the title “Benchmarking between the MCSS: Multicenter study and health quality standards”, the table has addressed collaboration models between mutual insurance companies and health centers, the application of common indicators to evaluate healthcare quality and shared learning derived from multicenter experiences.

Amador Lorente has highlighted the relevance of including safety indicators in the services' dashboard, as a strategic tool to promote the hospital's safety culture, establishing objectives, indicators and monitoring mechanisms that favor continuous improvement.

The meeting has been consolidated as a reference space to connect insurance management with quality of care and patient safety, reinforcing the role of mutual insurance companies as active agents in the transformation and sustainability of the health system.
