European OSH Week 2025: “Safe and healthy jobs in the digital age”
Between October 20 and 26, week 43 of the calendar, the European Week for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated throughout Europe. This key event promoted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), in collaboration with governments, companies, unions and entities specialized in prevention, was born with the purpose of making visible the current challenges in terms of occupational risk prevention, sharing good practices and promoting a solid preventive culture adapted to new work environments.
“Safe and healthy jobs in the digital era” is the motto chosen this year, which is part of the triennial campaign “Healthy Jobs 2023–2025”, focused on the impacts of digitalization on occupational health and the use of artificial intelligence and digital platforms, with special attention to psychosocial risks, digital disconnection and equity in access to prevention.

As key agents of the preventive system, Mutual Funds disseminate awareness campaigns and innovative actions that integrate technology and rigor.
Thus, as a member partner of the Spanish Network for Safety and Health at Work, Fraternidad-Muprespa participateda in promoting this initiative, with the holding of a preventive culture webinar on October 22, titled “Technological transformation of Occupational Health and Safety”, taught by Jose Luis Fernandez y Javier Sanchez, prevention consultants of the entity.
In it, some technologies that are already changing risk prevention were shown in a practical and direct way, such as virtual reality and augmented reality, which are revolutionizing ORP training, or the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, which favor the interconnection of PPE and people to anticipate danger.
It was also explained how conversational artificial intelligence, through tools such as ChatGPT, can become a powerful ally for health and safety professionals.
