Fraternidad-Muprespa accompanies the Social Graduates of Lanzarote on the 20th anniversary of their School

On the occasion of centenary of the profession of Social Graduate in Spain and the 20th anniversary of the creation of the School on the island, the entity Last Friday the 7th, an event was held that brought together representatives of public institutions, companies and social and professional organizations from various fields.

The Castillo de San José was the scene of the event, chaired by the dean of the College, Lourdes Rodriguez, and which was attended by Joaquín Merchan Bermejo, president of General Council of Social Graduate Colleges of Spain.  

Fraternidad-Muprespa was represented by the director of its delegation on the island, Pedro Figueras, a presence that highlighted the commitment to the Social Graduate profession and to the business and labor fabric of the Canary Islands, which also underlines the vocation for service and their willingness to continue working alongside this group.

During the event, the importance of its work as a bridge between workers, companies and institutions was highlighted, as well as its essential role in the defense of labor rights and in the management of Social Security. 

Among those attending the event were Francisco Guindin Sancena, territorial director of the Labor and Social Security Inspection of the Canary Islands; José Ramón Rodríguez Albertus, general director of Labor of the Government of the Canary Islands; Pedro Duarte Vazquez, provincial director and territorial coordinatorrial of the SEPE in Canary Islands; Carlos Gomez Bosqued, provincial director of the INSS of Las Palmas; and Juan de Dios Fernández Lupiáñez, head of the Specialized Unit of the National Anti-Fraud Office in Las Palmas.

Lourdes Rodríguez closed the day, thanking the large institutional presence and with express recognition to the president of the Council.
