Fraternidad-Muprespa has held its commemorative event for the World Day for Safety and Health at Work
As has become traditional in the mutual insurance company, yesterday, April 27, we celebrated the April 28th in commemoration of victims of work accidents and occupational diseases. The event took place at the headquarters of the Central Hospital of Fraternidad-Muprespa, located in the XPROTX ridecc826427XPROTX, with a large influx of mutual companies and collaborators.
The event was chaired by Don Carlos Aranda, Managing Director of
He then gave the floor to Mrs. María Teresa Quílez Félez, Deputy Director General of Planning, Financial Economic Analysis of Social Security, who began by explaining the necessary evolution that contribution rates have undergone in recent years and the way they are applied in order to adapt to the reality of economic activity and homogenize the situation of companies with the same activity, thus facilitating the performance of analysis. He then made a magnificent presentation of the Bonus system, providing some preliminary data on the analysis of the previous year's campaign. Among these, the volume of favorable resolutions stood out, around 6,600, out of the total presented, around 10,500. He ended his presentation by concluding the need to continue simplifying the contribution rate model, the necessary maintenance of an adequate information system on accidents and the important permanence of the incentive system for companies that contribute effectively and in a verifiable manner to the reduction and prevention of workplace accidents.
Subsequently Don Adrián González Martín, Deputy Director General for the coordination of Labor Relations, Prevention of Occupational Risks and Equality Measures of the Labor and Social Security Inspection brilliantly presented the mobility plans in relation to the Bonus, but above all he spoke of the work that the Labor Inspection is carrying out jointly with the General Directorate of Traffic in the prevention of occupational traffic accidents through good practice manuals among other actions, to try to reduce traffic accidents "on mission", which have surprisingly increased, compared to the reduction in “in itinere” accidents and traffic accidents in general.
Finally Doña Concepción Martín de Bustamante, Director of Telefónica's Joint Prevention Service, admirably presented the case of her company and in particular of the Joint Prevention Service that she directs, which despite the complexity and heterogeneity of the activities it supports is bearing good results thanks to the implementation of its Safety, Health and Wellbeing Management System. As of today, he noted, the Joint Prevention Service was dedicating a large part of its efforts to achieving OSHAS certification for the entire Telefónica group, as a continuous improvement process that will allow them to progressively reduce and prevent accidents.
The day closed Don Carlos Aranda thanking the attendees for their presence at the event and inviting them for next year.
