The meeting, held last Tuesday, was organized by the Canarian Institute of Occupational Safety (ICASEL), and had the participation of Fraternidad-Muprespa.
They opened the day Ana Isabel Leon, Deputy Minister of Employment, and Raquel Dominguez, Provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa.
Alejandro Quintana, prevention consultant for the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, spoke with the presentation “Landing the perception of risk in companies”, in which he shared the keys to understanding how this reality is perceived in work teams in addition to explaining that risks directly impact the safety and health of organizations.
Quintana cited the practical tools to homogenize that perception in our teams: the Accident Investigation, the A3 report, the roleplay and the one-point lesson. And finally he delved into the keys to developing a solid preventive culture in organizations, establishing management leadership and healthy communication as essential pillars, as well as an attitude aimed at success and based on perseverance.
Rachel Gonzalez, of the Joint Prevention Service of the IBEROSTAR Group, and Natalia Rodriguez, head of HR at Masquecarpas, presented in their interventions their good practices aimed at the occupational health of their staff, highlighting the generation of a preventive culture as a safety tool.
