At Fraternidad-Muprespa we aim to promote awareness among our mutual members and other interest groups about the objectives and values ​​of Social Responsibility, in addition to strengthening our own responsible and ethical management.

To this end, beyond strict compliance with current legislation and regulations, our management is promoted by the express commitment to respect Human Rights, good corporate governance practices and diversity management. In addition to promoting voluntary membership in international organizations and initiatives committed to the criteria of equality, transparency, integrity and the fight against corruption.

The objectives of our Code of Ethics and Conduct are:

  • Define the Organization's strategy in terms of its ethical behavior.
  • Promote that members of the organization know and position themselves in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Be the instrument that strengthens the trust of Management, Employees and Stakeholders.
  • Be effective in developing the Social Responsibility of the Mutual.
  • Create a mechanism for reflection and analysis: Identify important ethical issues.
  • Anticipate ethical problems that may arise in the future.
  • Be a corporate communication instrument to accredit the actions of the Organization.

Annual sustainability reports (Global Reporting Initiative)

At Fraternidad-Muprespa we have set ourselves the requirement to inform society according to the recommendations, guides and directives proposed by the Global Reporting Initiative, Standard GRI4, in compliance with Law 2/2011, of March 4, on Sustainable Economy, which obliges Mutual Funds Collaborating with Social Security to prepare and present Annual Sustainability Reports.

Every year a rigorous summary of the activity carried out in favor of our interest groups and Society in general is prepared in relation to the following contents: transparency in management; good corporate governance; commitment to the environment; improvement of labor relations; accessibility and inclusion, diversity and equality policies; defense of human rights and corporate volunteer actions. This report is registered and published in the Corporate Social Responsibility Report System of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

United Nations Global Compact

Fraternidad-Muprespa has renewed in November 2016 its commitment to adhere to the United Nations Global Compact (Global Compact) of which it has been a signatory since 2011. Adherence to the Compact formalizes our commitment to the adoption, support and promulgation, within our sphere of influence, of a set of fundamental values ​​in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption.

The Global Compact is based on the following basic principles derived from Universal Declarations and Conventions:

 

Human rights

  1. Support and respect the protection of internationally recognized human rights.
  2. Do not be complicit in the violation of human rights.

Labor rights

  1. Support freedom of association and the recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
  2. Eliminate forced or coerced labor.
  3. Support the eradication of child labor.
  4. Support the abolition of discrimination practices in employment and occupation.

Environmental rights

  1. Support the preventive approach to favor the environment.
  2. Promote greater environmental responsibility.
  3. Promote the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies

Fight against corruption

  1. Work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

 

 

Principles for the empowerment of Women

Adherence to the Global Compact has the effect of renewing our Entity's commitment to the Principles for the Empowerment of Women, an initiative promoted by UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women) and the United Nations Global Compact.

UNIFEM calls on companies to support these seven principles that Fraternidad-Muprespa subscribes to:

  • Promote gender equality from management to the highest level.
  • Treat all men and women equally at work, respect and defend human rights and non-discrimination.
