On April 20, the Vinjoy Foundation and the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa have organized a day aimed especially at young drivers, with the collaboration of ASPAYM Asturias and the Provincial Traffic Headquarters in Asturias. The event took place in the Vinjoy Foundation assembly hall located on Avenida de los Monumentos, Oviedo.

On this occasion, the main aspects that this group must take into account when dealing with responsible and safe driving have been summarized in a single day.

More than one hundred and fifty people from various educational centers attended the event and the Vinjoy Foundation's sign language interpretation service was available.

The presentation was given by Adolfo Rivas Fernandez,  managing director of the Vinjoy Foundation, who has highlighted the importance of responsible training for new drivers.

The role of mutual societies collaborating with Social Security in traffic accidents (In Itinere e On mission), has been the theme developed by Jose Beltran Garcia, senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention at Fraternidad-Muprespa.

Within the day's program, attendees met with the president of ASPAYM (Association of People with Spinal Injury and other physical disabilities) as well as   Eduardo Llano Martínez,  the consequences of an irresponsible attitude behind the wheel and the results that can derive from that attitude.

The day concluded with the words of the provincial head of Traffic of Asturias,  Raquel Casado Martínez and the coordinator of Road Education of Asturias José Andrés Medina Braña, who have highlighted traffic campaigns to reduce accidents in mobility, the value of responsible driving, and the absence of alcohol and drugs in it.

Those attending the event have valued their attendance remarkably.
