Royal Decree-Law 32/2021, of December 28, on urgent measures for labor reform, the guarantee of stability in employment and the transformation of the labor market.

Published in the BOE on December 30, 2021 and entered into force on December 31, 2021, except for certain provisions that come into force on March 30, 2021.

The reform contained in this RDL aims to reduce the temporary employment rate, as well as the recovery of labor rights and their guarantee, as well as the promotion of internal flexibility measures such as alternation of terminations, seeking the transformation of the Spanish labor market.

These changes, endorsed by social dialogue, having been agreed upon after a long negotiating process between the trade union organizations CCOO and UGT and the business organizations CEOE and CEPYME to structurally reform the Spanish labor market, in order to combat temporary employment and precarious employment.
