Technical conference on RD 2/2025: labor and preventive implications after an IP

Last Tuesday, the Official College of Social Graduates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosted a technical conference of high professional interest, under the title: “RD 2/2025: The employment relationship after an IP, termination or necessary adjustment and application of the standard from the point of view of the External Prevention Service”.

The meeting brought together specialists from various fields to analyze the effects of the new regulations on the management of the employment relationship in situations of Permanent Disability (PI) and clarify key aspects of the Royal Decree, which introduces new guidelines on the continuity, termination or adaptation of the employment relationship after the recognition of a PI.

The conference included the participation of two leading experts in their respective fields:

Ana Lorenzo, coordinatora from the Economic Benefits Department of Fraternidad-Muprespa, offered a detailed presentation on the legal and economic implications of IP in the employment relationship, addressing various assumptions.

Alicia Vega, Territorial Medical Director of Quirónprevención, provided the technical vision from the External Prevention Services, highlighting the importance of coordination between the parties involved.  

The day allowed attendees to share concerns, resolve practical doubts and update knowledge in a collaborative environment.
