THE MUTUA Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS HELD AN INFORMATION DAY IN CASTELLÓN ON BIOLOGICAL ACCIDENTS AND ACTION PROTOCOL

Last Thursday, November 8, 2012, an interesting conference on “Biological accidents and action protocol”, organized with the collaboration of INVASSAT, the Castellón College of Nursing, the Fraternidad-Muprespa Prevention Society and with the Fraternidad-Muprespa Mutual Fund.

During the day he acted as moderator and presenter of the speakers.Mr. Francisco Parejo Llorens, President of the Official College of Nursing of Castellón, speaking first Mr. Fernando Ulldemolins Salvador, Head of the Technical Assistance Service of the Territorial Center of the INVASSAT (Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work) of Castellón, who presented information and statistics regarding workplace accidents derived from biological risks.

He later intervened Mr. José Manuel Miguez Garcia, Senior Prevention Technician of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Prevention Society, who explained all the prevention measures regarding biological risk, as well as the action protocols and mechanisms to be implemented to avoid it, achieving important awareness of the problem among all attendees.

To end the day, he gave a presentation Mr. Pedro Soto Ferrando, head of the Prevention Service and Medical Labor Coordinator of NISA Hospitals, who explained the entire methodology that is applied once the unfortunate event of the biological risk accident occurs, along with the health procedures that are established from that moment on and the evolutionary control of the affected patient.

The speakers subsequently responded to the questions and doubts conveyed by the attendees, given the concern and interest aroused by the content of the aforementioned day, clarifying the different issues that were discussed.

The act on “Biological accidents and action protocols”, was presented by Mr. Pedro Gil Sorribes, Director of the Rey Don Jaime Hospital.

The event had an excellent reception and the existing capacity was practically covered, with the closing ceremony Mr. Angel Fernández García, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Castellón.
