"Trauma in the workplace" technical conference organized by Fraternidad-Muprespa of Lugo

On December 12, an interesting technical conference was held in the “O Vello Carcere” auditorium in Lugo under the title “Trauma in the workplace” that brought together a large number of medical professionals from the province of Lugo.

Jose Luis Sanchez, provincial director of City Council of Lugo, to the National Social Security Institute(INSS), to the Department of Health(Public Health Service) and Hospital Polusa, S.A.

Later, the Dr. Luis Coira, doctor specializing in Occupational Medicine at Fraternidad-Muprespa of Lugo, presented the speakers participating in the conference in order of intervention,Dr. Ángeles Gonda, Medical Inspector, head of the Medical Unit of the I.N.S.S., to the Dr. Margarita Gómez, head of the Occupational Health Unit of the Medical Inspection of the Ministry of Health, to the Dr. Laura Fernández, specialist in Radiology at Hospital Polusa, S.A. and finally  Dr.Ricardo Rión, specialist in Traumatology and Surgery at Hospital Polusa, S.A.

After the illustrative presentations, a participatory debate moderated by Dr. Luis Coira began, in which both the listeners, the vast majority of whom were medical personnel from Mutual Insurance Institutions that collaborate with Social Security with representation in the province of Lugo, as well as the speakers, actively participated.

The event ended with great satisfaction because of how interesting this information session turned out to be.
