8th International Congress of Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology

During November 29 and 30, the Palacio de la Magdalena (Av. de la Reina Victoria s/n) in Santander will host the 8th International Congress of Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology , organized jointly by the Spanish Ergonomics Association and the Asturian Ergonomics Association (Preveras), under the motto: “Ergonomics, more than just adapting jobs ”.

The varied program of this new meeting places emphasis on the complex work reality, social diversity and the unstoppable technological implementation that sets trends for the future. A congress in a city like Santander, “smart city”, more human, technological and sustainable, in short more ergonomic, therefore the relevant location for this event, to discuss a different Ergonomics for a new world in which the rules of the workplace are being rewritten every day.

Laviada, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication, who will participate on Thursday 29th with the Health Leadership conference. Fernando Corres, prevention technician from Álava and Ricardo Alonso, prevention technician from Cantabria, will also participate, who will give a workshop on Road Safety with virtual reality. Additionally, on Friday, Mar 30, Morales, director of prevention and DCS at Fraternidad-Muprespa, will present Lucas Sebastián, who will give a conference titled "Human Factor: Where are we?"
