The INSST has recently presented the Prevention Technical Note: "Minor aid for the mobilization and transfer of people in the health and social health fields" in which some of the support products that exist on the market to facilitate the mobilization and transfer of people in the health and social health sectors are presented. Specifically, it explains what minor aids are and shows some examples of their use with the aim of preventing the appearance of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) of work origin in these sectors.

It must be remembered that inadequate mobilization or transfer of people can cause significant damage to the health of personnel working in the health or social health sectors. In cases such as performing flexion or twisting movements of the trunk, allowing grips on the neck, shoulders and cervical area by the person to be mobilized, space restrictions, overexertion, manipulation of high weights or the adoption of forced postures are some risk factors for suffering from MSDs in the healthcare setting.

They have also published a collection of six videos explaining how to use some of the aforementioned support products that exist to facilitate these tasks and to prevent the appearance of musculoskeletal disorders in professionals in this field.
