No, it is not an ISO or OSHAS style certification. Vision Zero in a new philosophy to address the problem of health and safety management, understanding that all accidents can become preventable. In accordance with this philosophy, the ISSA has launched its global campaign. If you join their campaign you receive a document proving that you have registered, but nothing more.

No, there is no requirement. It is valid for any type of organization, sector, activity, number of workers, preventive organization or accident rate.

No, registering and being part of the ISSA campaign is free.

No, no obligation, examination, control or audit is established. The organization voluntarily decides what actions to carry out at all times.

The ISSA does not set deadlines. The campaign is totally flexible according to the interests and circumstances of the organizations. The deadlines will be set by the organization.

The Vision Zero campaign does not establish this need, however it is advisable, depending on the size of the company, to designate a person in charge to coordinate actions and monitor progress.

The questionnaires can be used in the order indicated by Vision Zero or based on the needs of the organization. They can be completed when considered more appropriate, a single questionnaire or all at once. There are no limits on time, date or place to spend them. There is no obligation on who or how they must fill out the questionnaires. No special training is necessary.

Where to start will depend on the needs and circumstances of the organization; according to the ISSA, it does not matter to start with Safety, Health or Well-being.

The Vision Zero campaign is fully compatible with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law; in fact, the prevention system that the company has in place will be a fundamental part of this vision.

It is not the objective, but by following this philosophy it can be achieved.
