COMMEMORATION OF APRIL 28
Since 1996, unions worldwide have been commemorating the victims of work accidents and occupational diseases on April 28 of each year.
Starting in 1999, and at the proposal of the National Commission for Safety and Health at Work, by Order of March 30, 1999, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of our country established, as Safety and Health at Work Day, April 28 of each year.
Since 2003 the ILO, an international tripartite organization, accepted the initiative of the trade union organizations and turned it into an annual day worldwide, promoted to draw attention to accidents and diseases caused by work and for their reduction and elimination in the world.
Around this date, hundreds of national and international organizations make statements, promote various types of events and propose and develop activities that lead to reflection by all citizens and the institutions and organizations most related to the problem.
Information and the maximum extension of the commemoration must play a crucial role in all activities, since the priority intention is to reach the maximum number of people and institutions, to encourage concern and action regarding this problem and to promote measures that lead to its solution. The choice of slogans has the purpose of synthesizing the objective into a message that allows maximum communicative effectiveness in the desired result.

XPROTX POSTEReee90febXPROTX MUPRESPA FOR APRIL 28
The theme and design of the poster for April 28 for this year 2010 has been based on the basic idea of prevention. The choice of a cardboard egg cup has been motivated by the proximity of this object to all of us and the proven effectiveness of its use in preventing domestic accidents.
On such a special day Fraternidad Muprespa, as it is April 28 (world day for safety and health at work), it is important that all parties involved, both employees and employers and the different organizations, become aware of the need to use all available means to apply them in occupational prevention. In order to try to convey this message, the motto “ Don't let your guard down... in prevention”.
Working with this phrase and the need to put all the necessary means for prevention within a work environment, a poster is created, where a scene composed of an everyday object close to everyone is presented, which transmits the message of the importance of preventing in advance and thus avoiding greater evils in a work environment and by extension in the daily life of each person.
The composition tries to give greater importance to the egg cup, as a means of prevention (which is why it is highlighted with a colored border), compared to its content, the eggs (a metaphor for the fragility of a worker faced with a work environment without a preventive study whose only defense would be a simple helmet).
