Asbestos emerging risk in construction, a hidden enemy

The National Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INSST) recently published the brochure in triptych format entitled: "Asbestos, emerging risk in construction: a hidden enemy, prevent your work and life from being stopped" which aims to raise awareness among all the agents involved about the importance of preventing the risk of occupational exposure to asbestos and informing the preventive system.

The ultimate goal of this document is to avoid “passive” (accidental) exposures, both for workers not specialized in asbestos who are involved in renovation, rehabilitation or dismantling works, and for other affected people, in the event of generating sources of asbestos fiber emission into the environment as a consequence of the work.
