Asbestos emerging risk in construction, a hidden enemy

The National Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INSST) recently published the brochure in triptych format entitled: "Asbestos, emerging risk in construction: a hidden enemy, prevent your work and life from being stopped" which aims to raise awareness among all the agents involved about the importance of preventing the risk of occupational exposure to asbestos and informing the system preventive.

The ultimate goal of this document is to avoid “passive” (accidental) exposures, both of workers not specialized in asbestos who are involved in renovation, rehabilitation or dismantling works, as well as other affected people, in case of generating sources of emission of asbestos fibers into the environment as a result of the work.
