Book on Ergonomics in digital format
The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has recently presented its book Ergonomics in digital format accessible to the entire public on its website.
Ergonomics is the set of multidisciplinary knowledge applied to the world of work and services for the adaptation of products, systems and artificial environments to the needs, limitations and characteristics of their users, optimizing effectiveness, safety and well-being.
The publication, which is now presented in electronic format, is the fifth edition of the book from 2008 and includes an updated vision of this subject, dealing with ergonomic aspects related to tasks, tools or loads.
The document has been structured starting with the human being, who is the main protagonist of ergonomics, continuing with the workplace, continuing with the workplace and the different conditions that configure it and ending with a vision of the organizational aspects that affect all the elements.
At Fraternidad-Muprespa we are convinced that training and awareness are fundamental pillars to avoid occupational risks. We believe that all accidents are preventable and an essential tool to achieve this is training.
This is a very favorable time for training from home, which is why we present our online training proposal on the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases that we call Prevention Classroom which can be accessed from our portal Previene. It is a free and open access platform for our associated companies in which we have e-learning courses and audiovisual workshops for all sectors and activities. Related to this news, we recommend our courses on risks associated with the ergonomics of basic and advanced work.
